Claudia Schiffer by Rodenstock – Presentation of the New Spring Models

Spring/summer collection 2015, inspired from the sixties and seventies, reflecting Claudia´s love of vintage.

The Claudia Schiffer by Rodenstock collection was successfully introduced a year ago and now launches new specialist correction styles. Two new correction frames are being added to each of the Vintage and Boyfriend collections. "The idea for the new models is to combine interesting material with a clear design that reflect this seasons optical trends. They are naturally stylish and made to the highest quality,” says Claudia Schiffer, whose personal style is all about combining classic, chic basics with beautiful and fun accessories. Since co-founding the collection with Rodenstock, Claudia has contributed her inspirations and ideas to the design process as the Creative Director of the collection.

Vintage Style
The Vintage frames are still feminine with a retro character. The new Yew and Almond frames are adorned with small metallic appliqués. The Yew correction spectacles (C4010), encompass a bridge that is reminiscent of a keyhole, giving a chic and timeless look. This is accentuated by the classic colours of Havana and rich brown.
The Almond frame (C4011) features a round and modern shape, also adorned with small metallic appliqués. The frame is available in a classic black, Havana and dark red.
The discreet metallic inserts give the Vintage series an understated, modern, and timeless identity.

Boyfriend
There are two new models for Spring Summer inspired by a casual and urban look. Claudia chose high-quality layered acetate and modern brushed surfaces as the material.

The Mahogany frame (C2001) with a metal rim and plastic top rim in classic colours is a stunning statement. This combination is a new design feature from Claudia Schiffer by Rodenstock and will give any outfit an individual style. The nose pads provide perfect adjustability and comfortable wearability. By using high-quality layered acetate, colours such as black, Havana, dark red and sand come into their own perfectly. The Hornbeam model (C2002) is slightly more feminine with it’s round shape. The decorative Nylor rim, which surrounds the lens almost invisibly, gives the spectacles a surprising and interesting effect. The plastic top rim with a slight cat-eye shape is captivating in colours such as brown, dark blue and Havana. "I chose these classic darker colours to emphasise the androgynous look of the Boyfriend collection. The new spectacles can be worn easily with any outfit yet still feel modern and on trend,“ says Claudia.
