Claudia Schiffer Knitwear Autumn Winter 2016

Claudia Schiffer Knitwear Autumn Winter 2016 Campaign

Autumn Winter 2016 sees the unveiling of Claudia Schiffer Knitwear, an exclusive collection of knitwear and cashmere pieces.

The stand alone collection comprises of 40 pieces featuring amazing luxurious cashmere and cashmere blend yarns. Each piece has unique details and patterns including multi colour jacquards and fair isles, creating a line of casually chic separates for every day, perfect to complete your capsule winter wardrobe.

Explaining the inspiration behind the collection, claudia schiffer commented, “I have been inspired by the colours, scents and textiles from my travels in southern spain: sunset red, burnt orange and sky blue accented with soft cream and camel, referencing motifs from heirloom rugs, ancient tiles and mosaics”.

The new collection can be easily defined — everyday luxury. “I love the softness of the knitwear. I wear it mostly with denim and I accessorise depending on the occasion. Some styles are boyfriend fit, which allows them to be slouchy for relaxed dressing and the cardigans can be belted or worn loose”.

“I was inspired by the nostalgia of my childhood holidays in Mallorca, especially enjoying the stunning red orange sunsets and swimming in the clear blue sea. These bright shades of red, orange and blue set this season’s colour palette, paired with a back drop of neutral sandy ecrus and whites.”

“The silhouettes are reminiscent of those worn by Bardot in the legendary images of her in the 1970’s peasant tops and effortless pieces that work beautifully with denim for a timeless look. There are also crochet dresses and tunics that can be worn with bare legs, or over a bikini.”
