Eau Sauvage Parfum 2017 new version

Eau Sauvage Parfum 2017

Eau Sauvage Parfum, the new Eau Sauvage, one of Claudia Schiffer favorite fragrances.

Dior Perfumer-Creator François Demachy revisits the trail of the Eau Sauvage Parfum variation and chooses to refresh its aromatic strength, warmed by the Provence sun.
As powerful and sensual as ever yet vitalised by this new freshness, a new Eau Sauvage Parfum comes to light.

A creation that pays homage to his roots in Grasse, inspired by the raw beauty of the Mediterranean heartlands. A new Eau Sauvage Parfum born in the heart of the House of Dior’s striking new olfactory atelier, now housed within the walls of the Bastide des Fontaines Parfumées in the centre of Grasse.
True to his radiant South of France roots, the composition is at once fiery and languid, fresh yet enveloping. An Eau Sauvage Parfum, Blazing Sun

Eau Sauvage Parfum, a solar signature

Eau Sauvage has a solar beauty.
Born in Provence in 1966, it was created by Edmond Roudnitska in the heart of “Sainte-Blanche”, his house and garden nestled in Cabris in the verdant hills of the Grasse countryside.
Now back in his Grasse homeland, Dior Perfumer-Creator François Demachy has drawn inspiration from this iconic signature to create a new Eau Sauvage Parfum.
Crafted from his own Grasse roots, today its ample trail soaks up the fresh aromas of this generous nature more than ever.

The perfume of warm, sun-baked skin, this new Eau Sauvage Parfum is worn with brazen pleasure.
Warm yet vivid, enveloping yet brightly green and fresh, it is a woody and spicy composition soaked in sunlight and a luminous natural shine.

“Working on Eau Sauvage is a subtle exercise in reinterpretation. You must respect its meticulous signature and preserve the authenticity of its raw materials while giving it depth and intensity. The idea is to not simply extend its power and concentration but to make its structure shine by giving it even more warmth.” François Demachy, Dior Perfumer-Creator

Eau Sauvage Parfum, a suave cologne

First, the signature…
The unique Eau Sauvage composition is there, instantly recognisable: the top note soars with citrus, soft Citron mingles with the cool, seductive, super-powerful San Carlo Bergamot—noble and unique, it infuses the composition with its chiselled freshness. Selected by François Demachy for its floral, fruity, zingy qualities, it is the produce of a partnership in Reggio, Calabria. Thanks to this Dior exclusivity, the entire production goes to Eau Sauvage, shaping its special signature.

A bright, fresh opening gives way to soft, round, noble notes of Lavendar Absolute underscored by Wild Flowers; a combination spiced up with a note of Hedione, the famous and revolutionary molecule that helped to build the Eau Sauvage legend.

Stripped of its earthy notes, Vetiver Heart proposes a new woody facet that is brighter and cleaner. Its subtlety creates a less imposing presence and brings out a warm, oriental, spicy base.
This light woodiness allows the warm, potent note of Elemi from the Philippines to unfurl, Labdanum cajoles us with its resinous sensuality, Cinnamon and Star Anise form a combination that is suave and comforting.

Profound yet round, vibrant yet fresh, this new Eau Sauvage Parfum magnifies an eternal solar signature with its warm, evocative accents.

“Eau Sauvage gains more pleasure. In this rounder version that comes even closer to the original signature, I wanted to highlight the authenticity of the raw materials. Mark their power but also reveal their warmth by making them even more present and palpable.” François Demachy, Dior Perfumer-Creator

Eau Sauvage Parfum, eternally feline

Once again, Alain Delon is the image of Eau Sauvage.
A saga in the image of these two legends that deepens the nuances of a fascinating masculinity.
Hypnotic and animal, Delon’s face is an emblem of virile beauty.
Radically modern, he is a star who sails through time with his magnetism intact.
Alain Delon and Eau Sauvage, a duo of French style and elegance.

Claudia Schiffer, in the magazine Harper’s Bazaar in October 2011, said that Eau Sauvage is one of her favorite fragrances.
