Campaign children refugee crisis with Unicef UK

Claudia Schiffer: Thank you to everyone who is supporting Bilal’s campaign with @Unicef_UK which I posted about recently. It’s so encouraging to see how many people want the UK Government to take action to reunite refugee children with their families in the UK. Having seen news of the sexual exploitation, violence and forced labour that children stuck in camps are exposed to, it serves as a stark reminder as to why we must keep telling the Government to get these children to safety now. Please go to the link in my bio to add to the 100,000 who have already signed the petition.

Claudia Schiffer Unicef Syria Campaign

Claudia Schiffer: Bilal, a Syrian refugee has finally been safely reunited with family in the UK after being stuck in the Jungle in Calais for 7 months. Bilal says “there are other children like me, fleeing war, travelling alone or stuck in refugee camps in Europe – trying to reach family in the UK. I am so lucky to be in London now, with my brother and looking forward to going back to school. But every day I think about my friends who are still stuck in Calais, or other children in places like Italy or Greece. I want to help”. It is unacceptable that refugee children have been stuck for months in wretched camps, despite having a legal right to be with their families waiting for them in the UK. Please join me and @Unicef_UK in campaigning to reunite children with their families.
