Roland Mouret & Claudia Schiffer to judge Fashion Fringe 2011.
The Fashion Fringe final takes the form of a catwalk show with the finalists’ collections during London Fashion Week in September.
Claudia Schiffer attends the gala premiere of Rossini's opera "Le Comte Ory" at The Metropolitan Opera House on March 24, 2011 in New York City, Sponsored By Yves Saint Laurent.
"IT was a little intimidating because I’m no good at drawing," said Claudia Schiffer when asked about the launch of her new fashion line. "I'm afraid it looks like something my six-year-old drew but luckily the people I’m working with could figure out what I'm trying to do."
WHAT would persuade Claudia Schiffer back onto the catwalk? "Nothing, definitely," she told us this morning at the launch of her debut cashmere collection in Paris.
"Nobody believes me but I'm very shy - much better in small groups of people than on a stage with everybody looking at me. I understood that I had to do it when I was modelling but now, since I don't have to do it, I'd rather not."
"Designers are very clever at trying to persuade me to do it each season and it's flattering that they do, but nothing would change my mind."
"I'd much rather be working on this new project anyway."
In Paris this season to launch it, Schiffer will be missing the Chanel show on Tuesday morning at which she is usually a regular in the front row. "I'm really sorry to miss it, I always love to go - but I'm going to be too busy with the collection this week," she says. "I want to meet all the press and buyers personally - it's that kind of project."
Claudia Schiffer and Michael Kors attend a cocktail and dinner hosted in honor of designer Michael Kors during Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012 at the Embassy Of The United States on March 7, 2011 in Paris, France.
