SOME WORDS TO MAKE A CHANGE
Directed by Jan Lisman for the International Women's Day - Creative director: Rosalie Miller
In tribute to "womankind" contemporary artist Jan Lisman created the evocative symbol "Art Beat". The emblem expresses the need to adopt a different way of thinking, a call to action seeking to inspire an energized and feminine way of thinking.
In celebration of International Women's Day (Unesco - March 8th) during the Fall/Winter 2013 Paris Fashion week, Mann & Miller produced the short film 'Some Words to Make A Change' directed by Jan Lisman. The film stars several female fashion insiders with a text written by Ash Bhalla and performed by Dolores Chaplin, the movie poetically articulates the aspirations underlying Jan Lisman's "Art Beat".

Vogue Australia March Special Collector Issue, Lara Stone is the first of Five.
"As we celebrate the launch of our five-part Model Series, with Lara Stone gracing the cover for the first issue, we take a look back at the original supermodels and the photographer who helped shape their images. Christy, Linda, Naomi, Cindy and Tatjana ruled the catwalks and pretty much anywhere else they deigned to walk, while super-snapper Peter Lindbergh was ever-present, capturing countless iconic photographs."
"I am thrilled to have Lara Stone grace the cover of Vogue Australia," says editor-in-chief Edwina McCann. "Her face is synonymous with our times, that gap between her front teeth and her beautiful curves are unforgettable. For the first of our five-part Model Series we took the unusual decision to run a headshot on the cover – when it comes to Lara, her face says it all."
The five-part Model Series can be kept in an exclusive Vogue Australia collector's box presented by David Jones, which will be available from March. For a full list of newsagencies that are stocking the limited edition box.
